Qanot Sharq Airline started its operations in 1998. Scrolling through the past period like a film, you can recall the most vivid moments that happened in the world, in our country and touched each of us. In less than a quarter of a century, you and I have witnessed political, economic, social and environmental transformations, today we are almost continuously connected to the Internet, use devices and almost live on social networks.

Uzbekistan has been updated over the years: it has become a sovereign state, entered the market economy, created its own automobile industry, and is one of the founders of the SCO. Important positive changes in our country have occurred thanks to the President of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev: currency liberalization, simplification of the visa regime, reforms in the tax, economic and educational systems, in the field of human rights and the fight against corruption, as well as in religious and foreign policy.

All these years, our airline has also been developing rapidly – we have performed hundreds of successful air cargo flights on Il-76 and passenger flights on Boeing 757 and Boeing 767. Working conditions have changed and ways of organizing national and international cargo and passenger transportation have been improved. 

Yes, our team has also grown and formed over the years. It is gratifying that today the airline employs not only those who stood at its origins, but also our children – the generation of Independent Uzbekistan. Young people, under the strict guidance of mentors, are confidently moving forward, taking advantage of the opportunities created by the President of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev.

Decree of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan dated 11/27/2018 No. UP-5584 "On measures to radically improve civil aviation of the Republic of Uzbekistan and Decree of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan dated 03/06/2019 No. PP-4230 "On measures to radically improve the system of cargo and passenger transportation" played a key role in activating the activities of our airline.

These documents have created conditions for the development of competition in the air transportation market and attracting investment in the industry. Today, Qanot Sharq Airline is proud to note that it owns four aircraft operating not only domestic, but also international flights, and the number of flights and passengers is growing literally by the hour.
