The passenger's baggage is accepted for carriage as checked baggage and is transported in the baggage and cargo compartments of the aircraft. Hand luggage is carried in the cabin of the aircraft. The passenger's checked baggage is carried on the same aircraft on which the passenger is traveling. If such transportation has become impossible, such baggage will be transported on an aircraft that performs the next flight to the passenger's destination.
The airline has the right to refuse to transport the passenger's baggage if the weight, number of seats, contents, size or packaging do not meet the requirements of these rules. The baggage of a passenger who did not show up for boarding the aircraft after check-in (including the baggage of a transit passenger who did not show up for boarding and his hand luggage in the cabin of the aircraft) are subject to removal from the aircraft and mandatory inspection.
Each piece of checked baggage must have a serviceable package that ensures its safety during transportation and processing and excludes the possibility of harm to passengers, crew members, third parties, damage to the aircraft, baggage of other passengers or other property.
Combining two or more items with separate packages in one place is not allowed.
Baggage with sharp, protruding objects in its packaging, as well as baggage in defective packaging, is not allowed to be transported.
Baggage with external damage that does not affect its safety during transportation and processing and cannot harm passengers, crew members, third parties, damage the aircraft, baggage of other passengers or other property may be accepted for carriage as checked baggage with the consent of the airline. In this case, the presence and type of damage are confirmed by the passenger's signature.
The airline has the right to refuse to accept the passenger's checked baggage if the baggage is not placed in a package that ensures its safety under normal handling conditions.
The Airline is obliged to ensure that passengers are informed of the reason and duration of any delay in baggage delivery and to ensure that baggage is handed over to passengers.
The passenger is obliged to receive his checked baggage after presenting it for delivery at the destination on the basis of a detachable coupon of the numbered baggage tag.
Baggage is collected at the airport to which the baggage was accepted for carriage. However, at the request of the passenger, baggage may also be issued at the point of departure or at an intermediate boarding point, if baggage collection at these points is not prohibited by the rules of state authorities and if time and circumstances allow for the issuance.
In the case of such baggage collection at the point of departure or at an intermediate boarding point, all amounts previously paid to the carrier related to the carriage of this baggage can be refunded only with the consent of the airline.
If the person applying for baggage cannot present a detachable baggage tag coupon, the airline may issue baggage to such a person only if sufficient evidence of their rights to this baggage is presented. An act on the issue of such baggage is mandatory.
To receive the "Hand luggage" or "Checked baggage" tag, the passenger must present at the check-in desk at the airport for weighing: i) Baggage, ii)Hand luggage, iii) Backpack, iv) A baby carriage.
If a passenger refuses to pay for the carriage of excess baggage in the amount and on the terms provided for in the passenger's air carriage agreement, QANOT SHARQ has the right to refuse such passenger transportation. There may be exceptions to the standard conditions of the free baggage allowance for certain destinations and for certain fares.
The passenger will be notified of them when booking the carriage.The baggage carried with passengers is checked in for each passenger separately. In the case of transportation of passengers traveling together, which passengers can document, it is allowed to combine, but on condition that each seat does not exceed the norms established by the tariff.
The transportation of the above-mentioned baggage is paid according to the published baggage rates, regardless of the passenger's other belongings carried as baggage.
The passenger's baggage allowed by the carrier to be carried in the cabin of the aircraft belongs to hand luggage and must be marked with the tag "Hand luggage/Cabin" (with the exception of items related to Personal belongings) issued by the carrier, and is transported free of charge provided:

Refund of the cost for carrying additional hand luggage is made without penalty at the request of the passenger before the end of check-in.

In all cases of delay in the delivery of baggage, its shortage, damage or loss, as well as in the case of baggage collection without presenting a detachable coupon of a numbered baggage tag, without leaving the airport, it is necessary to find the Lost & found baggage counter and draw up an act describing transportation malfunctions (PIR) there, which is certified by the signature of a representative the airline and the passenger until the last exit from the airport. One copy of the act is handed over to the passenger, and the second is transferred to the carrier's claim service.
When the baggage is found, the airline will notify the baggage owner and deliver the baggage to the airport (point) indicated by the passenger, and at the request of the passenger to the address indicated by him without charging an additional fee.
If the checked baggage is not found within twenty-one days from the date of submission of the application for non-receipt of baggage, the passenger has the right to claim compensation for damage caused by the loss of checked baggage.
The passenger's checked baggage can be stored free of charge at the destination airport for 2 (two) days day, including the day of arrival of the aircraft on which the baggage was delivered. Further baggage storage is provided by the carrier or the service organization. The costs of storing baggage not received by the passenger within two days are reimbursed in accordance with the civil legislation of the Republic of Uzbekistan.
If the checked baggage with a properly issued numbered baggage tag arrived at the airport (point) of destination, transfer or stop and was not received or claimed by the passenger, the airline searches for the owner of the baggage. In case of a positive result, the airline sends a written notification of the need to collect baggage and the procedure for receiving or delivering it.
Checked baggage, hand luggage and personal belongings are stored for 6 months from the date of notification to the baggage owner about the need to collect baggage or 6 months from the date of arrival of the aircraft at the airport, if the baggage owner is not found. In case of non-receipt of baggage, after the expiration of the specified period, the baggage may be sold or destroyed in accordance with the procedure established by the legislation of the Republic of Uzbekistan.
If during the search for baggage, the contents of which deteriorate after a certain storage period, adverse effects of temperature, humidity or other environmental conditions, are at risk of damage, the carrier has the right to immediately destroy all or part of the perishable baggage.
The storage of baggage subject to customs control and its disposal are carried out in accordance with the procedure established by the customs legislation of the Republic of Uzbekistan.
